Mr. Bobby Ray Joyce

Mr. Bobby Ray Joyce, age 86 of Pilot Mountain,
passed away Saturday, May 16, 2015 at Twelve Oaks Retirement and Assisted Living. Mr. Joyce was born July 2, 1928 to the late Mr. Fletcher Joyce and the late Vally Watson Joyce. Mr. Joyce was retired from Armetex and also from the monument business. He was also a member of Sulphur Springs Baptist Church. He is survived by his loving wife, Mrs. Lillian Brinkley Joyce of the home; A grandson Barry Ray Joyce; Step-granddaughter, Ginger Collins Puckett; Daughter-in-law, Hilda Collins Joyce; Sisters Vernice Hutchens and Estelle Gordon; A brother, Fletcher "Red" and Mary Frances Joyce Jr.; Three step great-grandchildren; five step great great grandchildren; Several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his only child Bobby Rex Joyce; His brothers, Gene Joyce, Harry Joyce, Ralph Joyce, Alvin Joyce, Carnel "Cotton" Joyce and Pete Joyce; His sisters Nora Deathridge, Bertha Holt, Myrtle Beaver and Eva Ross.
There will be a Graveside Service conducted Monday, May 18, 2015 at 11:00 AM at Pilot Mountain Cemetery. The speakers will be Freddy Bullington and Shirley Hicks . There will be no visitation.
