Mr. Brian Mitchell Boyer

Mr. Brian Mitchell Boyer, age 47, of Mt. Airy passed away Monday, May 30, 2016 at his home. He was born in Surry County on March 15, 1969 to Myrna Martin Collins and the late Clayton Mitchell Boyer. He was employed by Hulls Auto Sales and was a member of the Salvation Army Church. Surviving are his wife, LuAnn White Boyer of the home; two daughters; Cayla Boyer and Madison Boyer of the home; his mother and stepfather, Myrna and Marvin Collins of Mt. Airy; one brother and sister-in-law, Stewart and Misty Boyer of Mt. Airy; his mother-in-law, Flora White of Mt. Airy; one brother-in-law, John White; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his father, Mr. Boyer was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, James and Reva Boyer; his maternal grandparents, Caleb and Christine Martin; and by his father-in-law, Andy White. Funeral services will be held Thursday, June 2, 2016 at 3:00 P.M. at the Salvation Army Church with services conducted by Major Michael Rodgers with burial to follow in Oakdale Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday from 1:00 PM until 3:00 P.M. at the church. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to the Salvation Army Church, 651 S. South Street, Mt. Airy, NC. 27030. Moody Funeral Services in Mt. Airy will be assisting the Boyer Family.
