Mr. Charlie Lee "Cotton" Shough

Mr. Charlie Lee "Cotton" Shough, age 71 of Patrick Springs passed away Sunday morning at the Blue Ridge Nursing Center in Stuart. He was born in Patrick County on Jan. 11, 1943 to the late Edwin H. Shough and Mildred Sands Shough. In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by a sister, Judy Holt; and a brother, Herman Shough. Cotton had been a truck driver and had retired from Burgess Trucking.
Surviving are his wife, Margaret "Margie" Spencer Shough of the home; one son and daughter in law, Marty and Shelly Shough of Patrick Springs; one granddaughter, Kaitlyn Shough; one sister and brother in law, Ella Mae and Jimmy Martin of Ridgeway; and one brother and sister in law, Marvin Ray and Helen Shough of Patrick Springs.
A memorial service will be held Tuesday, Sept. 9, 2014 at Calvary Baptist Church at 2:00 PM with Pastor David Freeman officiating. Burial will follow in the Providence United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends two hours prior to the service at the church.
