Mr. Charlie Wayne Thompson Sr. 87, of Mount Airy passed away Thursday, August 17, 2017 at his home. A memorial service will be held on Saturday at 2:00 PM at Moody Funeral Home Chapel in Mount Airy. Interment will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, August 24, 2017 at Salisbury National Cemetery with full military honors by the United States Air Force.
