Mr. Christopher Michael Vaughn

Mr. Christopher Michael Vaughn, age 30 of Claudville, passed away Thursday, March 22, 2012 at his home. He was born in Patrick County on April 29, 1981, and was preceded in death by his mother, Lucy Donley Brady; and his maternal grandfather, Bill Donley. He attended Dobyns Primitive Baptist Church, and had been employed at Bassett Mirror.
Mr. Vaughn is survived by a son, Nicholas A. Vaughn of Bassett; a daughter, Samantha Nicole Jarrett of Ridgeway; his father, James "Jimmy" Vaughn, Sr. of Claudville; two brothers, James D. Vaughn, Jr. of Chesapeake and Matthew Lee McCrickard of Richmond; his paternal grandparents, Cecil and Onie Vaughn of Claudville; his maternal grandmother, Nellie Donley of Dublin; several aunts, uncles and cousins; and a special friend, Karen Mays of Bassett.
Funeral services for Mr. Vaughn will be held Monday at 2:00 p.m. at Moody Funeral Home in Stuart with Elders Donnie Conner and Tim McGrady officiating. Burial will follow in the Williams Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
