Mr. Darrell Wayne Overby

Mr. Darrell Wayne Overby, age 51 of Stuart, passed away Monday, July 6, 2015 at Roanoke Memorial Hospital. He was born in Patrick County on June 18, 1964. He was a member of Harvest Worship Center, loved to go deer hunting, and had been doing a prison ministry for many years.

Mr. Overby is survived by his parents, Perry and Pauline Clark Overby of Stuart; his paternal grandmother, Annie Lois Harris Overby of Lawsonville, North Carolina; a brother and sister-in-law, Eddie and Judy Overby of Mount Airy, North Carolina; two sisters, Tammy East and special friend, David McAdams of Westfield, North Carolina, Kimberly Hutchens and husband, Chris of Stuart; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, July 8, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Harvest Worship Center with Pastor David Coleman officiating. Burial will follow in Patrick Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Harvest Worship Center, and at other times at the home of his parents. Moody Funeral Home in Stuart is in charge of the arrangements.
