Mr. Dathan Roy Jones
Mr. Dathan Roy Jones, 37, of Greensboro, NC passed away at his home on Thursday, September 28, 2016. He was born in California to James Moreland Jones and Kathryn “Kathy” Barnes Gwyn. Mr. Jones was employed at Cracker Barrel. In addition to his parents, Mr. Jones is survived by a son, Ethan Jones of the home; a stepson, Kaden Streater of the home; his step father, Tommy Gwyn of Elkin; two brothers, Joshua Marlin Jones of Beverly Hills, FL; Billy Spencer Freeman of Mt. Airy; two step sisters; one step brother. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, October 5, 2016 at 2:00 PM at Closer Walk Baptist Church with his special uncle, the Rev. Mark Barnes, and the Rev. Doug Cockerham officiating. The family will receive friends Tuesday night from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at Closer Walk Baptist Church. Online condolences may be made at www.moodyfuneralservices.com.
