Mr. David Gray Key

Mr. David Gray Key, 60 of Westfield passed away at Forsyth Medical Center in Winston Salem on Friday, January 31, 2014. He was born in Forsyth County on July 23, 1953 to the late David Robert an Ollie Potts Key. Mr. Key worked for Lowes Foods and was a member of New Beginnings Church. He is survived by his wife, Jane Marie Lawson Key; a son, Chaston David Key; a daughter and son-in-law, Melissa Faye Key Bowman and John; a granddaughter, Angel Key Gwyn; and a sister and brother-in-law, Imogene Chilton and Roland and a brother-in-law, Charles Hatfield. In addition to his parents, Mr. Key was preceded in death by two sisters, Evelyn Key and Patricia Bobbitt Hatfield; and a brother, Grover Key. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, February 3, 2014 at Moody Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Lewis Martin and Rev. Posey Simmons officiating. Burial will follow at Old Orchard Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery in Westfield. The family will receive friends at Moody Funeral Home in Mt. Airy on Monday from 1:00 until 2:00 PM.
