Mr. Delmore Monroe Snow

Mr. Delmer Monroe Snow, age 77, of Dobson, NC passed away on Monday March 29, 2016 at his home. He was born in Surry Co. on February 15, 1939 to the late William Monroe and Ossie Cave Snow. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one sister Mildred Snow; one brother Roy Dean Snow. He was a veteran of the US Army, and a disabled pipe fitter. Surviving are his three sons Scott, Steve, and Stan Snow all of Elkin; one granddaughter Shannon K. Snow of Winston-Salem, NC; four sisters and brothers-in-law Bernice S. and Sidney Caligan of Elkin, Doris S. and Dillard Eaton of Dobson, Eleanor S. Hodge of North Wilkesboro, Frances S. and Linvill Phillips of Pilot Mountain; four brothers and sister-in-law Ruben C. Snow of Elkin, Robert L. Snow of Dobson, Roger F. Snow of Cana, VA, Ralph W. and Angela Snow of Lowgap, NC; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Sunday April 3, 2016 in the chapel of Moody-Davis Funeral Home in Dobson, with burial to follow in Little Vine Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. Tony White will officiate the service. The family will receive friends at Moody-Davis Funeral Home on Sunday one hour prior the funeral service.
