Mr. Donald Michael Arrington

Mr. Donald Michael Arrington, 64 of Westfield passed away at the Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home on Sunday, December 29, 2013. He was born in Moore County, NC May 1, 1949 to the late Adolphus Buell and Ludie Law Arrington. He is survived by his wife, Patsy Lee Lawson Arrington of the home; a daughter and son-in-law, Michelle and Tim Dawson of Mt. Airy; a son and daughter-in-law, Kenneth Michael and Tina Arrington of Mountain Park, a step son, Eddie Joe Stephens of Westfield; two grandchildren, Joshua Sechrist and Cassie Arrington; six step grandchildren, Rachel and Caleb Stephens and their mother, Beverly, Jarred and Noah Dawson, Toby Potts and Johnathn Gardner; three sisters and brothers-in-law, Valeria and Robert Hardy of Carthage, Frances and Robert Marion of Rural Hall, Diana and Kenneth Lawrence of Pilot Mountain; three brothers and two sisters-in-law, Robert and Pam Arrington of Mt. Airy, Richard Arrington of Mt. Airy, and Rex and Linda Arrington of Cana; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Marie and Gray Key and son, Chaston Key, Larry "Tommy" Lawson and Savannah Lawson all of Westfield. In addition to his parents, Mr. Arrington was preceded in death by sisters, Faye Chappell and Deborah Joyce and two infant sisters and one brother, Kenneth Arrington. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, January 1, 2014 at Moody Funeral Home Chapel with Elder Vance Jones and Elder Lacy Gates officiating. Burial will follow at Old Orchard Primitive Baptist Church in Westfield. The family will receive friends at Moody Funeral Home in Mt. Airy on Wednesday, January 1, 2014 from 12:30 PM until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers the family has requested that memorials be made to Moody Funeral Home in Mt. Airy, PO Box 1288, Mt.
