Mr. Douglas Wade Collins

Mr. Douglas Wade Collins, 62 of Mt. Airy passed away Friday, August 22, 2014 at the Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home. He was born in Patrick Co, VA to the late Early and Lucella Pack Collins. He is survived by his wife, Sherry Knott Collins; a daughter, Christy Collins; a son, Michael Collins; grandchildren, Tyler Collins, Dillion Christan, Devin Christan and Skyler Collins; step children, Crystal Dishman, Donnie Dishman, Jr., Michael Dishman, Santana Dishman, Hunter Billings and Logan Billings; five step grandchildren, two brothers and a sister-in-law, Wesley Collins and Ronnie and Dale Collins. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, August 26, 2014 at Moody Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. James Quesenberry officiating. Burial will follow in the Red Bank Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until8:00 PM at Moody Funeral Home in Mt. Airy on Monday, August 25, 2014.
