Mr. Douglas Edward "Eddie" Wood, Jr

Mr. Douglas Edward "Eddie" Wood, Jr., age 62 of Stuart passed away Saturday at his home. He was born on Jan. 1, 1950 to the late Douglas Wood, Sr. and Katherine "Kitty" Wood. Mr. Wood had been a technician for Collins HVAC, worked for Lawson Vault Svc; and loved to call and listen to the WHEO Trading Post.
Surviving are a daughter, Sarah Wood of Mt. Airy, NC; a son and daughter in law, Shanon and Sarah Wood of St. Mary's, GA; and his best friend, Susie Wood of Patrick Springs.
A memorial service will be held Wed., Oct. 24 at 1:00 PM at Harvest Worship Center with Pastor David Coleman officiating. Burial will be private. Moody Funeral Home in Stuart is assisting the family. Online condolences may be sent to www.moodyfuneralservices.com.
