Mr. Elvin O. Hall

Mr. Elvin O. Hall, age 71 of Meadows of Dan, passed away Monday, June 25, 2012 at Roanoke Memorial Hospital. He was born in Patrick County on September 28, 1940 to the late Benjamin and Velda Cockram Hall. In addition to his parents, Mr. Hall was preceded in death by his wife, Learline Burnette Hall. He was a member of Conner's View Primitive Baptist Church, and was a retired carpenter.
Mr. Hall is survived by two daughters and a son-in-law, Sherri and Robert Huffman of Danville and Michelle Hall of Stuart; three grandchildren, Laura Blankenship and husband, Taylor, Peyton Montgomery and Nathanael Montgomery; and one sister, Carolyn Hall of Woolwine.
Funeral services for Mr. Hall will be held Saturday at 11:00 a.m. at Conner's View Primitive Baptist Church with Elder Edward Bowman officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. Moody Funeral Home in Stuart is in charge of the arrangements.
