Mr. Gary Ray France

Mr. Gary Ray France, age 62 of Mt. Airy, passed away Friday, May 29, 2015 at the Woltz Hospice Home. Mr. France was born in Surry County on September 12, 1952 to Raffis Presley and Gertie May Sechrist France. He was a retired truck driver and will be dearly missed by his devoted family. Surviving are sons and a daughter-in-law, Brant and Billie Jean France and Brandon France and fiancé Michelle Hawks ; grandchildren, Bradon, Isabella, Branson, Gavin and Kayleigh; sisters and brothers-in-law, Callie and Terry Nixon, Joyce Ann King, Lois and Ray Rogers and Rita Farmer and Pete Burchett and by brothers, Gernie France and Edgar France and a sister-in-law, Brenda France. In addition to his parents, Mr. France was preceded in death by a sister, Evie Lou Burchett and brothers, Dillard France, Lefty France and Larry France. A graveside service will be held at Oak Ridge on Monday June 1, 2015 at 11:00 AM by Rev. Dale Bass. There will not be any formal visitation at the funeral home.
