Mr. Gary Franklin Guynn

Mr. Gary Franklin Guynn age 60 of 1779 Sparger Road, Mt. Airy, NC husband of Mrs. Carolyn Gwyn Guynn passed away Friday morning, March 30, 2012 at his home. He was born February 4, 1952 in Floyd County, VA son of Cletus Marie Goad Guynn and the late John Franklin Guynn. He was retired from Collinsworth Furniture and was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church. Surviving are his wife, Carolyn G. Guynn of the home, a son and daughter-in-law, Richard Dale and Lora Guynn, Claudville, VA, a grandson, Justin Franklin Guynn, Claudville, VA, mother, Cletus Marie Goad Guynn, Mt. Airy and a brother, Joseph Guynn, Cana, VA. In addition to his father, Mr. Guynn was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Guynn and brother, Randy Guynn. A graveside service will be held 3:30 pm Sunday, April 1, 2012 at Oak Grove Baptist Church Cemetery conducted by Rev. Johnny Easter. There will be no formal visitation at the funeral home.
