Mr. Gary William Kruse

Mr. Gary William Kruse, age 67 of Stuart, passed away Sunday, February 19, 2017 at Lewis-Gale Hospital in Salem. He was born in Wisconsin on February 7, 1950 to the late Donald William Kruse and Dorothy Louise McCorrison Kruse. He served in the United States Army.

Mr. Kruse is survived by three sons and daughters-in-law, Jason and Jessica Kruse of Stuart, Cory Kruse of Woolwine, Matthew and Tammy Kruse of Stuart; eight grandchildren, Whitley, Owen and Evan Kruse, Ryan, Brandon, Kaitlyn and McKenzie Spencer and Wesley Kruse; and one brother, Shane Kruse of Stuart.
Funeral services will be Thursday, February 23, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Moody Funeral Home in Stuart. Burial will follow in Patrick Memorial Gardens with military rites by the Patrick County Veterans Memorial Honor Guard. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home, and at other times at the home of his son, Matthew Kruse, 94 Developmental Road, Stuart, Virginia.
