Mr. Harold Clarence Mabe, Jr., age 64 of Stuart, passed away Monday, November 3, 2014 at Roanoke Memorial Hospital. He was born in Carroll County on March 19, 1950. Mr. Mabe was preceded in death by his father, Harold Mabe, Sr. He was a member of Ross Harbour United Methodist Church, and was the owner/operator of Mabe's Home Improvement.
Mr. Mabe is survived by his wife, Patsy Blackwell Mabe of the home; one son, Harold Mabe, III and fiancé, Serena Maddox, of Stuart; one daughter and son-in-law, Susan and Jason Bullins of Stuart; five grandchildren, Joseph Mabe, Noah Mabe, Tayman Bullins, Bryson Bullins and Camden Bullins; one great-grandchild, Minetta Randolph; his mother, Golda White Mabe of Stuart; one brother, Gary Mabe of Stuart; and four sisters, Evelyn Ivey of Stuart, Connie Reynolds of Callands, Janice Sanders of Minnesota and Cathy Coleman of Stuart.
Funeral services will be held Friday, November 7, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at Ross Harbour United Methodist Church with Pastor Sandy Wright officiating. Burial will be private. The family will receive friends two hours prior to the service at the church, and other times at the home. If desired, memorials may be made to the Harold Mabe Memorial Fund, P.O.
