Mr. Harry Lee Beasley, age 90 of Lawsonville, NC passed away Saturday, March 21, 2015 at his home. He was born in Surry County, NC on Jan. 24, 1925 to the late Edgar and Annie Shelor Beasley. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four sisters, Jessie Cole, Pearl Gordon, Ruth Beasley, Magdaline Beasley; and two brothers, James and Sam Beasley. Harry had been a Custodian for Patrick County High School and attended Dan River Baptist Church. He was a two time State Senior Horseshoe Champion; enjoyed fishing; and was a big Jeff Gordon fan.

Surviving are his wife of 64 years, Myrtle Willard Beasley of the home; a daughter and son in law, Judy and Clifford Hall of Lawsonville, NC; one precious grandson, Jamie Stowe; two sisters and a brother in law, Thelma Slate of Siloam, NC, Shirley and Osby Hooker of Fieldale, VA; one brother and sister in law, William and Ruby Beasley of Westfield, NC; a special sister in law, Janette Shouse and husband, James; brother in law, William Willard and wife, Janie; two best friends, Larry and Darla Hylton; two special friends, James Stowe and Patricia Pack; two special neighbors, Lois and Marion Hall; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, March 24, 2015 at 2:00 PM at Moody Funeral Home in Stuart with Rev. Ricky Rogers and Pastor Andy Pack officiating. Burial will follow in the Aaron's Corner Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
