Mr. Harry Robert Horton

Mr. Harry Robert Horton, age 86 of Cana, VA, passed away Saturday, January 31, 2015 at Forsyth Medical Center. Mr. Horton was born in Hartford County, MD on August 30, 1928 to William and Beatrice Burchette Horton. He proudly served our country in the United States Army and was retired from Chrysler Corporation. Surviving is his loving wife, Judith Evans Hodgin Horton; daughters and sons-in-law, Wanda and Edward Redman and Marion and Gilbert Jennings; a son and daughter-in-law, Allan and Lynn Horton; a step daughter, Jill Druck and husband Jerimiah; a step son, Jerry Hodgin, Jr. and wife Anita; sixteen grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren; brothers and sisters-in-law, Billy and Janet Horton, Donald and Lorraine Horton and Charlie and Alice Horton and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Mr. Horton was preceded in death grandson, Dylan Horton; a step daughter, Judy Collins; sisters, Vivian Eagles, Vena Reeves, Vecie Williams, Vera Horton and Violet Young and by brothers, William and Bobby Horton. The family will receive friends Sunday night from 6:00 to 8:00 at Moody Funeral Home. Funeral services and burial will be in Conowingo, MD.
