Mr. Herman Ralph Hall

Mr. Herman Ralph Hall, age 84 of Stuart, passed away Tuesday, June 2, 2015 at Blue Ridge Therapy Connection in Stuart. He was born in Patrick County on July 16, 1930 to the late Joseph and Mary Martin Hall. In addition to his parents, Mr. Hall was preceded in death by two brothers, Earnest and Akers Hall, and four sisters, Grace Cox, Dorothy Clifton, Julia Morris and Lucy Hrolenok. He worked for Stuart Flooring and later retired from Stanley Furniture. He was of the Primitive Baptist faith.

Mr. Hall is survived by his wife of 62 years, Irene Salmons Hall of the home; two sons and daughters-in-law, Jimmy and Carol Hall and R.J. and Carol Hall, all of Stuart; six grandchildren and their spouses, Brian and Marcia Hall, Dana and Travis Worley, Travis and April Hall, Andrea and Daniel Alderman and Chris and LeeAnn Harris; six great-grandchildren, Caleb, Ashley, Tucker, Ethan, Landon and Cole; one sister, Elaine Wilkinson of Fieldale; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at 3:00 p.m. at Moody Funeral Home in Stuart with Elder Donnie Conner officiating. Burial will follow in Jack's Creek Primitive Baptist Church cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home, and at other times at the home. If desired, memorials may be made to the Smith River Rescue Squad, P.O.
