Mr. Homer Theodore "T.H." Towe

Mr. Homer “T.H.” Towe, 78 of Cana, VA passed away at his home Wednesday, October 21, 2015. He was born in Carroll County on February 8, 1937 to the late Homer Columbus and Clara Alice “Duck” Towe. He is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Karen and Phillip Haynes of Mt. Airy; a son, Timothy John Towe of Cana, VA; granddaughter, Alison Hornaday and husband, Shay; grandson, Dixie Haynes and wife, Jenny; former wife and friend, Betty Jo Collins. In addition to his parents, Mr. Towe was preceded in death by a sister, Bernice Jane Allen. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, October 24, 2015 at Flat Ridge Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Randy Edwards officiating. The family will receive friends at Faith Baptist Church on Friday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 PM. The family would like to express their deepest appreciation to the staff of Mountain Valley Hospice, Joe, Paige and Melissa for the wonderful care and love shown to Mr. Towe and his family during his illness.
