Mr. Howard Lee Lawson

Howard Lee Lawson 64, of Bassett, died Tuesday, April 26, 2016 at the Memorial Hospital of Martinsville and Henry County. He was born in Patrick County on September 1, 1951 to the late Raymond C. Lawson and Frances Meeks Lawson. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Raymond C. Lawson, Jr.

Surviving are his wife, Alice H. Lawson; sons and daughters-in-law, Billy Bowers and wife, Melissa, Charlie Bowers, Ronnie Bowers and wife, Carol, Jeffrey Bowers and wife, Glenda and Dewey Bowers; eleven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; sister and brother-in-law, Doris Turner and husband, Otis; and nieces, Donna Martin and Jeannie King.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, April 29 at 11:00 am at the Lawson Family Cemetery with Pastor Rick Randall officiating.
