Mr. James Franklin "Frank" Hawks

Mr. James Franklin "Frank" Hawks, 57 of Reidsville formerly of Mt. Airy passed away at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Salem, VA Saturday, July 12, 2014. He was born on March 8, 1957 in Homestead, FL to Russell Hawks and the late Barbara Jean Pilgrim Hawks. Mr. Hawks worked in commercial heating and cooling and was of the Baptist Faith. He proudly served our country in the U.S. Air force. In addition to his father, Mr. Hawks is survived by a daughter, Shannon Hawks and a son and daughter-in-law, Craig and Chrissy Hawks; a grandson, Cameron Hawks all of Oak Ridge, NC; and a sister and brother-in-law, Carol and David Thomas of Mt. Airy. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Tuesday, July 15, 2014 at Moody Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Arlis Thomas officiating. Burial will follow at Skyline Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends at Moody Funeral Home in Mt. Airy on Tuesday from 12:30 until the time of the service.
