Mr. James Akers Hylton

Mr. James Akers Hylton, age 63 of Martinsville, passed away Monday, September 26, 2016 at Roanoke Memorial Hospital. He was born in Henry County on January 14, 1953, and was preceded in death by his father, Billy Moir Reynolds. He had worked at Nationwide Homes in Martinsville.

Mr. Hylton is survived by a daughter, Brittany Hylton of Martinsville; his mother, Doretha Hylton Reynolds of Critz; six brothers and sisters-in-law, Richard and Robin Reynolds of Ridgeway, Larry and Robin Reynolds of Martinsville, Benny Reynolds of Washington, DC, Ervin Reynolds, Norman and Sarah Reynolds, Dennis and Tamika Reynolds, all of Critz; three sisters and brothers-in-law, Ann Hedrick, Jackie and Richard Via, Melissa and Danny Collins, all of Critz; and a host of nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held Friday, September 30, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. in Mt. Nebo Holiness Church Cemetery with Pastor Sammy Hagwood officiating.
