Mr. James Ronald Foley "Pup"

Mr. James Ronald Foley, affectionately called “Pup", age 59, of Patrick Springs, Virginia passed away at his home on Friday, September 11, 2015. He was born in Patrick County on April 2, 1956 to the late Albert Grady Foley and Rosie Foley. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother, Ray Foley. Mr. Foley faithfully served his country in the Army during the Vietnam War. Pup was an avid Harley Davidson enthusiast, even making the long journey to Sturgis Motorcycle Rally once. He was a free spirit, a great friend, and a simple man.

Pup is survived by his uncle, Junior Turner of Stuart, Virginia; a cousin, Darrell Turner and wife, Lynn of Bradenton, Florida and his close friends.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, September 14, 2015 at 11:00 am at the Foley Family Cemetery on Pleasant View Road with Pastor David Bishop officiating. The Patrick County Veterans Memorial Honor will conduct military rites. In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial donations be made to the Patrick County Community Food Bank, P.O.
