Mr. James Charles "J.C." Reynolds

Mr. James Charles "J.C." Reynolds, age 73 of Mt. Airy, passed away Sunday, June 24, 2012 at Central Continuing Care. Mr. Reynolds was born in Surry County on March 4, 1939 to the late Walter A. and Gertrude Seagraves Reynolds. He served our country in the United States Marines and was a retired painter and a member of Faith Baptist Church. He is survived by a daughter, Chris Reynolds of Dobson; a son, James M. Reynolds of Waycross, GA; four grandchildren; one brother and sisters-in-law, Mac and Susie Reynolds of Mt. Airy, Sheila Reynolds of Mt. Airy; a very special niece, Deborah Wall of Ararat, NC. In addition to his parents, Mr. Reynolds was preceded in death by two sisters, Nancy Hornaday and Wilma Butera; two brothers, Caldwell and Garnett Reynolds. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, June 27, 2012 at 11:00 AM at Moody Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Randy Edwards and Rev. Tommy Nichols officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Carmel Baptist Church Cemetery with full military honors conducted by VFW Memorial Honor Guard Post 2019 of Mt. Airy and Post 9436 of Pilot Mountain. The family will receive friends Tuesday night from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at Moody Funeral Home in Mt. Airy.
