Mr. James Phillip Simmons

Mr. James Phillip Simmons, age 61 of Patrick Springs passed away Friday at his home. He was born in Patrick County on Dec. 2, 1949. He was preceded in death by his father, James Thomas "Babe" Simmons.
Surviving are his wife, Devon Martin Simmons of the home; one son, Bryce Simmons of Danville; one daughter, Lindsey Simmons of the home; and his mother, Mary Lawson Simmons of Stuart.
A memorial service will be held Monday, July 18, 2011 at 2:00 PM at Moody Funeral Home in Stuart with Rev. Robert Belcher officiating. Burial will be private. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Online condolences may be sent to www.moodyfuneralservices.com.
