Mr. Jeffrey Don Hodges

Mr. Jeffrey Don Hodges, 53 of Claudville, VA passed away at his home Friday, April 18, 2014. He was born in Surry County to Harley Hughes and Maxine Coe Hodges. Mr. Hodges worked at Proctor-Silex for 22 years prior to working at the waste treatment plant. He was a member of Central View Baptist Church in Dobson. Left to cherish his memories in addition to his parents are his wife, Jean McCann Hodges of the home; two daughters, Magan Hodges of Pilot Mountain and Katelin Hodges of Raleigh; a step son, Jason Hughes of Stuart, VA; a granddaughter, Avayah Wall; a sister and brother-in-law, Janet and Phillip Atkins of Dobson, NC and two nephews, Dylan and John Damon Atkins and a great niece, Lyla Reece Atkins.. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Monday, April 21, 2014 at Central View Baptist Church in Dobson with Rev. Corey Shelton officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church on Monday 12:30 pm until time of the service and at other times at the home of his parents, Harley and Maxine, 511 White Dirt Rd..
