Mr. Jerry Lee Dooley

Mr. Jerry Lee Dooley, 64, of Mt. Airy passed away Thursday, October 8, 2015 at his home. He was born in Roanoke County, VA on December 15, 1950 to the late, Grover and Margaret Meador Dooley. Mr. Dooley was a member of Blue Hollow Baptist Church. He proudly served our country in the United States Navy. He is survived by sons and daughters-in-law, Edward Jamieson and Rebecca Dooley of Mt. Airy, Jason Alexander and Gretchen Dooley of Mt. Airy; grandchildren, Samatha Dooley, Thomas “Tad” Dooley, Ean Dooley, and Olivia Dooley; sisters and brother-in-law, Gail and Ronnie Pasley, Connie Clapp; brothers and sisters-in-law, Norman and Brenda Dooley, Allan Dooley; many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Mr. Dooley was preceded in death by his wife, Donna Thomas Dooley; a brother, Richard Dooley. Funeral services will be held Sunday, October 11, 2015 at 2:00 PM at Blue Hollow Baptist Church with the Rev. Ricky Martin officiating. The family will receive friends Saturday night from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at Moody Funeral Home In Mt. Airy.
