Mr. Jimmie Lewis Coe, age 66, of Dobson, NC, Beloved husband and cherished father and grandfather went home to be with the Lord at his home on Saturday night on December 7, 2013. He was born in Surry Co. on June 21, 1947 to the late Posey Coe and Estelle Calloway Coe. He was a self-employed Truck Driver, was a member of Liberty Baptist Church. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Claude and Loma Calloway; his paternal grandparents Jim and Lula Coe. Surviving is his wife Eleanor "Faye" Cook Coe of the home; daughter and son-in-law Terri and Barry Woodring of Dobson; Sons and daughters-in-law Todd and Angie Coe of Elkin, Mike and Vickie Bledsoe of Pilot Mountain; grandchildren Brooke Renee Woodring, Chasity and Jake Sincavage, Laken Leann Coe, Ben Woodring, Ty Woodring, Hogan Coe; great-grandson baby Micah Sincavage; half-sister Candice Cruise; half- brother and sister-in-law Ricky and Terri Freeborn; special friends Mickey Draughn, Bonnie Lowe , numerous special friends; aunts Rachel Long, Norris Key, Lucy Mae Lewis; uncles Clifton Coe. Funeral services will be held 8:00 PM Tuesday December 10, 2013 in the chapel of Moody-Davis Funeral Home in Dobson, with Entombment to follow on Wednesday at 11:00 AM at Skyline Memory Gardens in Mt. Airy. Rev. Ricky Freeborn, Rev. Jimmy Tucker, and Bro. George Goggins will conduct the services. The family will receive friends at Moody Davis Funeral Home on Tuesday evening before the service from 6:00 PM until time of his service at 8:00 PM. The family has requested in lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Liberty Baptist Church C/O Lou Ray Poindexter 204 Poindexter Rd. Siloam, NC 27007 or to Mountain Valley Hospice and Palliative Care 401 Technology Lane Mt. Airy, NC 27030. A Special thank you to Mountain Valley Hospice (Flannery Heath and Ben Webb).
