Mr. John Clark Hutchens

Mr. John Clark Hutchens, age 75 of Mt. Airy, passed away Thursday, January 22, 2015 at Forsyth Medical Center. Mr. Hutchens was born in Surry County on August 16, 1939 to John Clinton and Mary Lawrence Hutchens. He was a loving father, grandfather and great grandfather who will be dearly missed by his devoted family and friends. Surviving are sons and daughters-in-law, Jody and Emma Jean Hutchens, Marty Hutchens; a granddaughter, Kristin Hutchens and great grandsons, Brody Lee Webster and Brayden Nate Webster. In addition to his parents, Mr. Hutchens was preceded in death by his wife, Linda Holder Hutchens; a son, Byron Todd Hutchens; sisters, Iva Dell Griffith, Ruth Fleischer, Eva Jane Hutchens and Gladys Snow and brothers, James Marvin, Robert, Hampton and Herbert Hutchens. The family will receive friends Monday night from 6:00 to 8:00 at Moody Funeral Home. There will not be a formal service.
