Mr. John Gray Trivette, age 75 of Dobson, passed away Wednesday, June 3, 2015. He was born May 5, 1940 in Yadkin County to the late John Frank Trivette and the late Mamie Jane Thomas Trivette. He was a retired farmer and logger and was of the Baptist faith.
He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Mrs. Wanda Ann Jenkins Trivette, of the home. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughters and sons-in-law, Teresa and Mark Baker of Boonville; Mattie and Jerry Lane of Dobson and Kimberly Trivette Lewis of Nashville, TN. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, one sister and two brothers. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by three brothers and three sisters.
Visitation will be Saturday, June 6, 2015 from 12:00 to 1:30 PM at Moody-Davis Funeral Service in Dobson. The Funeral will follow at 2:00 PM in the chapel with Reverend Raleigh Burnette, Reverend Bill Jenkins and Reverend Allen Jenkins officiating. Interment will follow in The New Grace Baptist Church Cemetery.
