Mr. Johnie Ray Davis

Mr. Johnie Ray Davis, age 68 of Mt. Airy, passed away Sunday, January 05, 2014 at the Woltz Hospice Home. Mr. Davis was born in Randolph County on February 10, 1945 to John Henry and Daisy Mae Reeves Davis. He proudly served our country in the United States Navy and was a truck driver. Surviving are his devoted wife, Metha Jo Willard Davis; daughters Amanda Lee Davis; Selina Faw and husband Gregory; grandchildren, Samantha Faw, Tiffany Faw, J. J. Davis, Jennifer Davis and Lekeshia Davis. In addition to his parents, Mr. Davis was preceded in death by an infant son, Eddie Davis. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, January 7, 2014 at Skyline Memory Gardens by Rev. Jimmy Slate. Military honors will be conducted by VFW Memorial Honor Guard Mt. Airy Post 2019 and Pilot Mountain Post 9436. The family will receive friends at their home following the service.
