Mr. Johnnie Ray Hawks

Mr. Johnnie Ray Hawks, age 59 of Mt. Airy, passed away Tuesday, January 13, 2015 at the Woltz Hospice Home. Mr. Hawks was born in Galax, VA on August 8, 1955 to Orville Earl and Martha Jean Bowman Hawks. He was employed with Aunt Bea's. Surviving is a sister, Rhonda Hawks; and his very adored niece and buddy, Kayla Hawks. In addition to his parents, Mr. Hawks was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Edward and Hessie Hayes Bowman and his paternal grandparents, Earl Orville and Eliza Jane Surratt Hawks. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, January 17, 2015 at Skyline Memory Gardens by Rev. Dink Haynes. The family will receive friends Friday night from 6:00 to 8:00 at Moody Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorial may be made to Moody Funeral Home is assist with funeral expenses.
