Mr. Jonathan Keith Hudson

Mr. Jonathan Keith Hudson, age 48 of Dobson, NC a loving husband, father, and son passed away on Sunday, May 4, 2014. He was born in Surry County on January 21, 1966 to the late Page Hudson and the late Louise Hensley Hudson. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his mother-in-law Jo Adams. Mr. Hudson was a member of Fairview Baptist Church and was employed by Ashley Furniture in Advance, NC. Surviving are his wife Martha Adams Hudson of the home; daughter Haley Hudson, of the home; two sons Kody Hudson and Luke Hudson both of the home; by his step mother Mary Bet Hudson of Dobson; a sister Mary Hudson Standifur of Dobson; his special dog Gauge; his father-in-law Don Adams of Dobson, sister-in-law and brother-in-law Luann and Greg Thomas of Dobson, brother-in-law and sister-in-law Keith and Kim Adams of Dobson; and several beloved nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 4:00 P.M. Thursday May 8, 2014 at Fairview Baptist Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery. Rev. Dan Merritt and Rev. Gary Byrd will conduct the services. The family will receive friends at Moody-Davis Funeral Home in Dobson on Wednesday evening from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. His body will remain at Moody-Davis Funeral Home until carried to the church to lie in state 30 min. prior to the services.
