Mr. Jonathan Samuel Spencer

Mr. Jonathan Samuel Spencer, 33, of Mt. Airy passed away Wednesday, April 30, 2014 at his home. He was born in Surry County on February 5, 1981 to Raymond Spencer and the late Roberta Florence Nixon Spencer. He was construction worker, Surviving are fiancée, Carolee Ann Lineberry of the home, a son, Skyler McMichael of the home, his father Raymond Spencer of Mt. Airy, two sisters, Tina Marie and Starsky Lineberry of Mt. Airy, and Reena Lynn Spencer and fiancé. Zach Shugart of Mt. Airy. grandmother, Hazel Juanita Nixon of Mt. Airy, , nieces and nephews, Dustin Lee Tolbert, Roberta Louise Lineberry, several sunts and uncles. In addition to his mother, Mr. Spencer was preceded in death by his grandparents, Andy W. and Gertrude Spencer, and Elmer Lee Nixon and a autn, Rachel Glass. Funeral services will be held 2 pm on Monday 5, 2014 at Holy Cross Baptist Church. The service will be conducted by Rev. Butch Holder. Burial will follow in the Nixon Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends 6-8 pm Sunday at Holy Cross Baptist Church. In ;lieu of flowers memorial contibutuins may be made to Moody Funeral Home, PO Box 1288, Mt.
