Mr. Joseph "Marty" Guynn

Mr. Joseph "Marty" Guynn, 37, of Mt. Airy went to be with his heavenly father Wednesday, June 25, 2014 at Forsyth Medical Center in Winston Salem. He was born in Forsyth County on October 7, 1976 to Birda Bond Poff and the late Coy Lee Barneycastle. Mr. Guynn was owner of Marty Guynn Restaurant Services. He is survived by his mother and step father, Birda Bond and Doug Poff of Mt. Airy; half sisters and brother-in-law, Patricia Ann and Danny Edwards, Mary Jane Key all of Mt. Airy, Mozell Bledsoe of Dobson; half brothers, Johnny Barneycastle and Wiley Michael Guynn both of Mt. Airy, Robert Eugene Barneycastle of Siloam, Calvin Barneycastle of Dobson; many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews; a special friend, Peggy Pelkey of Cana, VA. Funeral services will be held Sunday, June 29, 2014 at 2:00 PM at Moody Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Don Collins and Brother Jerry Pardue officiating. Burial will follow in Elks Spur Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday from 1:00 PM until time of the service at Moody Funeral Home in Mt. Airy.
