Mr. Joseph Allen Harbour

Mr. Joseph Allen Harbour, age 75 of Stuart, passed away Wednesday, August 31, 2016 at Memorial Hospital of Martinsville and Henry County. He was born in Patrick County on March 19, 1941 to the late Charlie Murray Harbour and Mary Pendleton Harbour. In addition to his parents, Mr. Harbour was preceded in death by three brothers, Wesley, Coy and Louis Harbour.

Mr. Harbour is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Ronnie and Linda Harbour of Woolwine; one daughter and son-in-law, Rebecca and Richard Conner of Stuart; three grandchildren, Ashley Williams and husband, Dwayne, April Wright and husband, Kevin, Alan Harbour and wife, Christy; three great-grandchildren, Mason Wright, Mackenzie Williams and Carter Williams; two sisters, Dorothy DeHart of Woolwine and Annie Adkins of Hickory, North Carolina; and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held Saturday, September 3, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. in the Fairystone Baptist Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Fairystone Baptist Church Cemetery Fund, c/o Maggie Wood, 82 Fairystone Church Loop, Stuart, Virginia 24171.
