Mr. Joseph Todd Tucker

Mr. Joseph Todd Tucker, age 44, of Dobson passed away peacefully in the comfort of his home on Tuesday, January 27, 2015. He was born in Surry County on July 18, 1970 to the late James "Jimmy" Monroe and Shirley Speaks Tucker. Mr. Tucker was a master cabinet maker and enjoyed woodworking. He is survived by his loving wife of 23 years, Melissa Hall Tucker of the home; niece and nephew, Kristy and Tony Cox of Elkin, Scott and wife Kathryn Hall, of State Road; two sisters-in-law, Pam and husband Robert McMillian, of Elkin and Debra Hall also of Elkin; his mother-in-law, Barbara Hall, of Elkin; special cousins, Shannon and husband Scott Townsend, of King, Brianna Speas and Alex Hutchins, all of King; special friends, Steven Collins of Dobson and Brian Hutchins of Siloam. Funeral services will be held at 2 pm on Thursday, January 29, 2015 in the chapel of Moody-Davis Funeral by Chaplain Ricky Spencer and Brother, Tim Smith. Burial will follow in Double Creek Church of Christ cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday evening from 6 to 8 pm. And other times at the home of Barbara Hall.
