Mr. Junior Stevens

Mr. Junior Lee Stevens, age 63, of Mount Airy passed away Tuesday, November 28, 2017 at his home. He was born August 29, 1954 to the Bertha Gwyn and the late Irvin Stevens. He was retired from North Carolina Granite Corporation after 44 years of service. Left to cherish his memories are his wife, Judy Stevens; two daughters and sons-in-law, Angie Knott and husband Gray, Jennifer Tate and husband Terry; two sons and daughters-in-law, John Stevens and wife Niki, Rich Stevens and wife Nicole; seven grandchildren; Leslie and Andrew Knott, Garrett and Natalie Stevens, Daisy and Troy Tate, Kenzie Stevens; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Sis Stevens, Darlene Goins and her husband Dale, two brothers, Lewis Stevens and Donnie Stevens; a mother, Bertha Stevens. In addition to his father Mr. Stevens was preceded in death by a brother, Buster Stevens, and a sister Kathleen Stevens. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, December 1, 2017 at Moody Funeral Home Chapel with services conducted by the Rev. Gray Knott and Rev Rusty Reed. Burial will follow in the Stevens Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 6-8pm at Moody Funeral Home in Mt. Airy.
