Mr. Kendall Ray Frye
Mr. Kendall Ray Frye, 57, of Mt. Airy passed away on Wednesday, June 14, 2017 at UNC Hospital in Chapel Hill. He was born in Surry County on January 29, 1960 to Carlos and Stella Jones Frye. Ken was employed with the state of NC as the Assistant Director of DARP. He was of the Baptist Faith. Ken was a guitar player and lover of southern rock music. In addition to his parents, Ken is survived by, a sister and brother-in-law, Jennifer and Tim Arnder; brothers and sisters-in-law, Bob and Nancy Frye, Fred and Evelyn Frye and Tom Frye; several nieces and nephews and many special friends. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, June 18, 2017 at Moody Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. John Kinder and Rev. Dwight Sechrist officiating. The family will receive friends at Moody Funeral Home in Mt. Airy Sunday, from 12:30 PM until the time of the service. Online condolences may be made at www.moodyfuneralservices.com.
