Mr. Kenneth Dale Jones

Mr. Kenneth Dale Jones, age 66 of Mt. Airy, passed away Thursday, June 14, 2012 at Forsyth Medical Center. Mr. Jones was born in Surry County on February 27, 1946 to Elmer and Mary Beulah Felts Jones. He was retired from United Plastics and was a member of Unity Church. Surviving are a daughter and son-in-law, Shannon and Greg Jones of Mt. Airy; a son and daughter-in-law, Patrick and Bonnie Jones also of Mt. Airy; grandchildren, Tyler Childress, Katie Jones, Daniel Jones and Emily Jones; sisters and a brother-in-law, Patricia and Darrell Oakley of Dobson and Delores Belton of Mt. Airy; a brother, Bobby Jones of Mt. Airy; a sister-in-law, Martha Margaret Jones of Mt. Airy and a special caregiver, Lena Mae Hutson. In addition to his parents, Mr. Jones was preceded in death by a brother, Roland Jones; a sister-in-law, Linda Jones and a brother-in-law, J. D. Belton. Funeral services will be held at 4:00 PM, Sunday, June 17, 2012 at Moody Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Buford Jessup. Burial will follow in White Plains Friends Meeting Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday night from 6:00 to 8:00 at the funeral home.
