Mr. Kenneth Eugene Kipp, Jr

Mr. Kenneth Eugene Kipp, Jr, age 61, of Elkin passed away peacefully in the comfort of his home on Saturday, November 29, 2014 after an extended illness. He was born in Detroit, Michigan on June 21, 1953 to the late Kenneth Eugene, Sr. and Daisy Hogue Kipp. Mr. Kipp was a retired Machinist from Precision Molding Engineering and of the Baptist faith. Survivors include his loving wife of 43 years, Jacquelyn Jacobs Kipp, of the home; one daughter, Jackie Kipp; four sons, Kenneth Kipp of Indiana, Lawrence Kipp of Creedmore, Joshua Kipp of Galax, VA and Herbert Kipp of Raleigh; nine grandchildren, including "Poppy's Girl" Mia Kipp, of the home; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Janet and Dave Widner, Joyce and Jack Adcock all of Goshen, IN.; three brothers and a sister-in-law, William Kipp of Elkhart, IN., David and Nancy Kipp of Angola, IN. and Danny Green of Danville, KY. In addition to his parents, Mr. Kipp was preceded in death by three brothers, Robert Kipp, Larry Green and Rodney Green. His funeral service will be held at 1 pm on Friday, December 5, 2014 in the chapel of Moody-Davis Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Kipp Family Cemetery on Twin Oak Road, Elkin, NC, The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 11:30 AM until the hour of the service.
