Mr. Kenneth Ray Sprinkle

Mr. Kenneth Ray Sprinkle, 61, of Ararat, NC passed away Thursday, November 30, 2017 at the Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson. He was born in Surry County on May 31, 1956 to Eva Marie Beck Steele and the late Leonard Ray Sprinkle. Mr. Sprinkle was a member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church in King. He is survived by a son, Kory James Sprinkle; his mother, Eva Marie Beck Steele; sisters and brother-in-law, Joyce Ann Steele, Carolyn Marie Edwards and Frank; many nieces and nephews. In addition to his father Mr. Sprinkle was preceded in death by his wife, Violet Renee Poindexter Sprinkle; a brother, Jimmy Ray Sprinkle. Funeral services will be held Sunday, December 3, 2017 at 2:00 PM at Moody Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Ronnie Miller and the Rev. Michael Thames officiating. Burial will follow in Pine Hill Friends Meeting. The family will receive friends Saturday night from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at Moody Funeral Home in Mt. Airy.
