Mr. Kermit J. Coble

Mr. Kermit J Coble, age 89, of Lexington, NC, passed away on Thursday October 30, 2014 in Davidson Co. He was born in Guilford Co. on June 25, 1925 to the late Charlie Arthur Coble and the late Alta Humble Coble, in addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Mary Stella Branch Coble; sister Loretta Parker. He was a retired owner operator of a Pavilion at Holden Beach, NC. Surviving is his daughter and son-in-law Barbara and James Kesler of Lexington; son and daughter-in-law Kermit J. Coble Jr. and Janice Coble of Jamestown; five grandchildren Michael and Bessie Gaither, Steven Gaither, Tanya and Gregory Hennessee, Kermit J. Coble, III and Stephanie Coble, Christy and Nick Baker; ten great grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held 3:00 P.M. Sunday November 2, 2014 at Blues Grove Baptist Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery. Rev. Travis Sechrist and Rev. Tony Holder will conduct the services. The family will receive friends on Sunday November 2, 2014 at Blues Grove Baptist Church from 2:00 PM until 3:00 PM the time of his service. Moody-Davis Funeral Home in Dobson is serving the Coble family.
