Mr. Larry Grant Foley

Mr. Larry Grant Foley, age 72 of Stuart, Virginia passed away at Roanoke Memorial Hospital Saturday, June 4, 2016. He was born in Missouri on September 18, 1943 to the late Homer Foley and Dorothy Oviatt Foley. In addition to his parents, Larry was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Foley. He retired from the timber business, after many years of service and had spent the last few years operating a bulldozer for John Hopkins.

Mr. Foley is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Josie Neely Foley of the home; two daughters and sons-in-law, Judy and Harold Jones of Stuart, and Janet and Gerald Hylton of Stuart; a son, Larry Grant Foley, Jr., and Debbie Miller of Stuart; two grandchildren, Jeremy Jones and wife, Caroline and Montana Young; two great granddaughters, Analeigh Jones and Maelynn Jones; three brothers and sisters-in-law, Sumner Ray and Dell Foley, Terry Joe and Nancy Foley, and Wesley and Karen Foley, all of Florida; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Ada Jean and John Moeller of Florida, and Karen Sue and Richard Day of Pennsylvania; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for Mr. Foley will be held on Tuesday, June 7, 2016 at 1:00 PM at Moody Funeral Home Chapel in Stuart with Pastor Connie Wilson officiating. Burial will immediately follow in the Elamsville Church of God of Prophecy Cemetery. The family will receive friends two hours prior to the services at the funeral home.
