Mr. Leroy Snow

Mr. Leroy Snow, age 73 of Mt. Airy, passed away Friday, May 01, 2015 at his home surrounded by his family. Mr. Snow was born in Surry County on March 12, 1942 to James Clyde and Ila Mae Stanley Snow. He retired from Canteen Vending and was of the Baptist Faith. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather who will be dearly missed by all his family and many friends. Surviving is his devoted wife, Virginia Cassell Snow; daughters and a son-in-law, Sherry and Fred Seagraves and Kathryn Snow; grandchildren, Summer Young and husband, Brandon, Chastity Snow, and Sydney Seagraves; great-grandchildren, Haden Goins and Avery Young; step-grandchildren, Jonathan Seagraves, Michael and Matthew Tucker; great-nephew, Skylarr Collins; sister, Linda Collins; brother and sister-in-law, Lester and Carol Snow and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Mr. Snow was preceded in death by sisters, Amy Hazelwood and Joann King, and brothers, Robert and Jimmy Snow. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, May 5, 2015 at Moody Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bill Spurlin officiating. Burial will follow at Old Hollow Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.
