Mr. Lonnie Gray Fulk

Mr. Lonnie Gray Fulk, age 86, of Elkin, NC passed away at his home on Saturday April 4, 2015. He was born in Surry Co. on March 21, 1929 to the late Jessie Gray Fulk and the late Myrtle Cockerham Fulk. He was a member of Salem Fork Christian Church, and was a Farmer. Mr. Fulk served in the US Air Force for thirty eight years and received the Air Force Commendation Medal and North Carolina National Guard Meritorious Service Medal upon his Retirement from the National Guard. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one brother Curtis Fulk; and one nephew Curtis R. Williamson. Surviving are his two sisters Faye F. Moser of Durham, and Reba F. Williamson of Elkin; one niece Jean M. Lee of Durham; two nephews James K. Williamson of Elkin, and John Moser of Durham. A Graveside Service will be held Tuesday 2:00 PM April 7th, 2015 in the Salem Fork Christian Church Cemetery with Austin Caviness conducting. There will be no formal services at the Funeral Home. Moody-Davis Funeral Home in Dobson is serving the Fulk family.
