Mr. Marcus Lee Conner

Mr. Marcus Lee Conner, age 52 of Claudville passed away Thursday at his home. He was born on Dec. 4, 1957 in Patrick County. He was preceded in death by his mother, Nanny Ruth Conner Pack. Mr. Conner was a supervisor for Russell Corporation and served in the US Army.
Surviving are his wife, Sonja Lee Booker Conner of the home; four sons and daughters in law, Shane and Jennifer Conner of Culpepper, Leith and Megan Conner of Stuart, Essie and Amy Conner of Stuart, Ryan and Karen Conner of Killeen, TX; four grandchildren, Keiley, Isiah, Declan, and Braelyn Conner; four sisters, Joan Williams of Woolwine, Jeannette Belcher of Woolwine, Donna Jewel of Raleigh, NC, Diane Gillespie of Ferrum; and two brothers, Michael Conner of Woolwine, and Ronnie Conner of Jamestown, KY.
A visitation will be held Monday, Jan. 18, 2010 at Moody Funeral Home in Stuart from 6 to 9 PM. All other services will be private. Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor's choice. Online condolences may be sent to www.moodyfuneralservices.com.
