Mr. Michael Wayne Cain

Mr. Michael Wayne Cain, 46, of Mt. Airy, husband of Melinda Cain, passed away Thursday, September 21, 2017 at Forsyth Medical Center. He was born in Galax, VA on July 31, 1971 to Barbara Jane O’Neal Cain and LeRoy Wayne Cain. In addition to his wife, Melinda and his parents, Mr. Cain is survived by a sister and brother-in-law, Mary and Jody Branch; a special nephew, Mason McMillian; grandmother, Dicie O’Neal and father-in-law, David Hayes. Mr. Cain was preceded in death by his two daughters, Cheyanne Patricia Cain and Abbagail Marie Cain; grandparents, Chester O’Neal, and Susie and Eli Cain; and his mother-in-law, Judy Hayes. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, September 26, 2017 at Faith Baptist Church with Rev. Randy Edwards officiating. Burial will follow at Genesis Full Gospel Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Faith Baptist Church immediately following the interment. Moody Funeral Home in Mt. Airy will be assisting with the family.
